“Some of the greatest technical challenges and some of the largest unfulfilled customer needs can be found today in managing unstructured data,” said Yaki Faitelson, Varonis CEO, President and Co-Founder. “At Varonis, we take great pride in our relentless technological innovation and focus on delivering quantifiable value to our customers and partners.”
Varonis, placed by Bloor in its “Champions” category, achieved the highest score among the 10 companies examined in the Bloor report, most of which are focused on structured data governance.
The report also highlighted emerging trends, noting that governance is being more widely adopted. Philip Howard, Bloor Research Director for Data, reported, “Companies have been and are implementing governance over unstructured data. Indeed, there are probably more implementations of the single unstructured governance product [Varonis] that we are covering in this update than there are of all the structured data governance products put together.”
