Cardinal appoints Colin Barton as Sales Manager

Vigilance can report that leading security solutions and personnel provider, The Cardinal Group has appointed Colin Barton as Sales Manager of its Amberstone Technology Merchandising Solutions division and C-Instore businesses.

Mr Barton joins the Cardinal Group following over 20 years in the industry specialising in a wide range of anti-theft devices for retail outlets. Notably, he was instrumental in the launch of spider wraps, often used to protect high value merchandise such as computer software, as well as the first CombiClip ink tag, which releases an ink onto a garment when illegally manipulated or removed.

Nigeria Police 'invade' Garden City with 4, 200-strong contigent in readiness for the 2013 Police Games

Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State is set to burst with sporting, social and business activities, as 4,200 athletes and 500 officials arrive for the 10th Biennial Police Games, which kick off today, the 3rd, lasting till 9th March, 2013. This year's events which are to be held in three separate sporting venues in the Garden City was announced on February 25th, 2013 by the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Frank Mba at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.
