International collaboration helps Return Path to reduce email abuse and extend detection to 2.4 billion mailboxes worldwide

LONDON: IT Security vendor Kaspersky Lab and email intelligence company Return Path have announced a new, collaborative initiative to combat international fraud including phishing attacks and other abuse targeting consumers and service providers. The companies have agreed on a framework to share threat data and security analytics to detect and thwart email abuse, protect the end-users from malware and spam, and enable mailbox providers to quickly identify and address fraud within their networks.
