Britain’s biggest warship is today ready to resume her duties at sea.

After nine months undergoing engineering repairs and receiving significant capability enhancements to support her future tasking, aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales moved out of dry dock at Rosyth and into the River Forth.

Once at anchor and in deeper water, the ship’s team will prove machinery and bring her systems to life – before sailing under the iconic Forth Bridges on her way to Portsmouth.

London: Four in five (80 per cent) of cybersecurity leaders claim that AI is the biggest cyber threat to their business, according to new research from RiverSafe, a leading cybersecurity professional services provider.

The findings were revealed in the AI Unleashed: Navigating Cyber Risks Report, a survey of 250 cybersecurity leaders conducted by independent polling agency Censuswide, which detailed the rising threat of AI in cybersecurity. The research uncovered the preparedness of organisations and their plans to improve cyber posture to cope against AI-powered threats.

In recent months, Ofcom has investigated the UK cloud services market amid concerns about the increasing dominance, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

There has been a proposal from Ofcom to refer the UK cloud market for investigation into anti-competitive behaviour, citing that AWS and Microsoft are currently the leading UK providers of cloud infrastructure services but may need to be investigated further.
