High Wycombe: The inaugural International Conference in Venue and Event Safety (ICVES) has been launched at Bucks New University.
ICVES has been developed and delivered by industry practitioners and is supported by the International Centre for Crowd Management and Security Studies (ICCMSS).
The conference takes a holistic view of event safety considering the different aspects relevant to Venues and Events and aims to improve safety through discussion around industry wide topics and identifying worldwide best practice.
Mark Hamilton, Head of Centre at ICCMSS, said “ICVES brings together experts from around the world in the fields of Crowd Management and Science alongside Event Safety to identify how we can transfer best practice to the management of crowded spaces.”
The conference will take place from the 12th to the 15th March 2014 in Belfast, Northern Ireland and includes an agenda that will appeal to anyone connected with the safe management of venues, events and other crowded spaces.
