London: Balabit will be showcasing its award winning Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions that protect against the growing threats associated with the misuse of privileged and high risk accounts, at Infosecurity Europe 2017.
Threats involving Privileged Accounts can have a major impact on a business. Users with privileged account status are an attractive target for professional hackers, or APTs, targeting those with the highest access rights to networks, systems and data. Balabit’s PAM solutions help organisations to prevent data breaches related to account misuse or hijacking, providing deep visibility into privileged account activity. By identifying unusual or risky behaviour, users can detect compromised privileged accounts and suspicious insider activity.
Zoltán Györko, CEO of Balabit comments: “Incidents involving Privileged Accounts can cause serious damage to an organisation, yet they can be notoriously difficult to detect, taking months or even years to be discovered. At Infosecurity Europe, we’ll be demonstrating how organisations can speed up the time to respond to security breaches and close the security gaps that could be exploited by an intruder or malicious insider. We will provide practical insights on how organisations can gain deep visibility into malicious or risky activity, improving security without placing additional burden around the actions of users.”
Balabit will be conducting regular presentations on its Stand #B260 to explain how Privileged Access Management can help to prevent data breaches, without constraining normal business practices.
In partnership with Lieberman Software, Balabit has also been shortlisted for the SC Magazine Awards, in the Best Identity Management Solution Category, for its Integrated Privileged Access Management Platform.
