PhishMe, Incorporated, the leading provider of immersive phishing awareness training, has seen rapid growth in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East in recent months, and is expanding its physical presence in the form of a sales team based in the UK, as well as a future data center to serve the needs of customers in European and Middle Eastern markets.
PhishMe’s customer growth in the United Kingdom and the Middle East has been particularly strong in the Financial, Defense Industrial, and Technology sectors, traditionally some of the most heavily targeted industries for phishing attacks.
This growth has necessitated the need for a local presence with knowledge of the unique challenges customers in Europe and Middle East face, and PhishMe is pleased to announce the additions of Paul Witchell and Andy Sceats to its team. Paul and Andy will be responsible for Sales and Business Development for PhishMe throughout the region. Both bring impressive technical backgrounds and sales experience to provide PhishMe with the expertise to serve International customers.
Andy Sceats has over 30 years’ experience in both the hardware and software industries, and he brings PhishMe a significant depth of knowledge in selling into enterprise and government agencies across a wide variety of verticals and geographic territories. Andy is based near London, and has extensive experience throughout Europe, in addition to having lived in California and Hong Kong.
Paul Witchell has over 20 years of extensive sales, business development and general technology experience in both the military and commercial sectors. Paul brings a proven track record in building and maintaining trusting relationships that drive joint business results through sales engagement, solution development and technology alignment. His experience covers a wide range of products and markets which include Enterprise, Carrier, Industry and Public Sector. Paul has previously held sales and consultancy positions in Protégé, Alcatel-Lucent and Newbridge Networks, and is currently based in Cardiff, Wales.
PhishMe’s expansion also includes a future hosting site for PhishMe based out of Europe. This data center will allow PhishMe to improve the level of service offered to its customers based in the area, and will increase PhishMe’s ease of access for customers that need to comply with EU privacy laws and regulations.
“Establishing a physical presence in Europe is an exciting development both for PhishMe and our customers in the region, as this expansion will improve the level of service we are able to provide,” Jim Hansen, Executive Vice President at PhishMe said. “Paul and Andy bring impressive credentials to our team, and will allow us to keep a pulse on the market. Establishing a data center for our customers in the EU gives PhishMe an ability to serve customers in the EU that none of our competitors can match. We look forward to the opportunities that Europe and the Middle East present for PhishMe.”
