New York (US) and London (UK): Varonis Systems Inc., the leading provider of comprehensive data governance software has announced the shortlist for its inaugural customer awards scheme, and opened the awards for voting. Varonis invites its customers, partners, and industry peers to go online and cast their vote for the project they feel is most deserving of recognition – www.varonis.com/awards/vote.
The shortlisted companies include CIT, CIBC, Aimco, Western Precooling, BNP Paribas, AXA, Alberta Government Ministry of Energy, Fountain Tire, Société Générale, PMI and AltaLink Management.
The Varonios Data Governance Awards opened in May, and all customers were invited to enter projects of which they are especially proud. All entries have been reviewed and the successful shortlisted entries opened for voting. Alongside the public vote, the entries are also being reviewed by a panel of expert judges, including industry analysts, to decide the final results.
“Data is a valuable asset. Varonis customers all over the world are working every day to manage and protect data, ensuring that only the right users have access to the right data at all times, making sure access is monitored, and abuse is flagged. Most of the time these projects take place behind the scenes – unnoticed and underappreciated. We want to change that – we want to shout about our customers’ successes and the great things they are doing. We launched the awards to unearth the projects that are quietly (or loudly) managing and protecting data, and enabling people to collaborate more securely and efficiently. They might be big or they might be small, but they all deliver real, measurable benefits to their companies, and their company’s customers, clients, and business partners,” said Yaki Faitelson, CEO and co-founder of Varonis.
