European Leader in integrated Email Encryption and Certificate Management open UK office and reaches out to channel with opportunity to serve untapped and high value markets
LONODON, UK: Zertificon, One of Europe’s largest specialist providers of Email Encryption, Signature and Certificate Management Appliances for Enterprise, has launched a UK partner recruitment program following the establishment of its first UK offices earlier this year.
Since founding in 2004, Berlin headquartered Zertificon has grown rapidly across the DACH region working with a community of over 50 partners including HP, Integralis, Computacenter and Siemens Business Services.
“Our partner community across Europe consists of both larger system integrators and specialists that have helped us serve some of the largest financial services and public sector organisations across the region,” explains Dr. Burkhard Wiegel, Zertificon UK Country Manager. “We are the only vendor within this space that focuses solely on end to end communication security by offering an integrated platform for e-mail encryption, secure file transfer and certificate management.
Zertificon solutions scale from SME to enterprise deployment scenarios and offer ‘state of the art’ security with enough flexibility to integrate into the most challenging environments. “We are well established in the DACH region and our expansion into the UK has been prompted by increased demand, especially from our international customers,” adds Dr. Wiegel.
The new UK channel recruitment drive aims to build and support a community of partners that want to offer highly efficient email encryption and signature solutions suited for both B2B and B2C enterprise email communication. “If you look at the competitive landscape, Zertificon is the only vendor that focuses specifically on this area with the ability to deeply integrate within complex environments,” explains Dr. Wiegel.
Zertificon’s international users span finance, automotive, health care, public authorities, industry and professional services and include a broad set of the top 500 enterprises in the DACH region.
For IT solution partners working within a market saturated with anti-virus, spam and DLP solutions; Dr. Wiegel points to the opportunity for growth within secure communications where encryption and certificate management is needed to meet growing compliance and security requirements.
Although hosted email has proven popular with certain organisations, on premise solutions are still considered preferable within high security or sensitive environments. On-premise solutions are also more flexible when organisations need to integrate ERP, CRM or collaborative systems and Zertificon is the only vendor that dedicates significant development resources and API support to help channel partners meet unique requirements.
“Our intention is to work with a select group of UK partners to extend training and technical support to help them successfully deliver high value projects. Many of our clients within the DACH region have similar requirements to UK counterparts and there is an untapped potential for channel partners to expand their solution portfolios,” Dr. Wiegel adds.
Zertificon offers a complete range of integrated solutions that include:
Z1 SecureMail Gateway is a highly efficient email encryption and signature solution with various extensions to suit all requirements for secure B-to-B and B-to-C email communication.
Z1 SecureHub is a web based portal solution for secure large file transfer. An easy and intuitive interface makes it a favourite among users along with powerful integration with other Z1 Products.
Z1 CertServer is a highly automated certificate management and validation solution which serves as central information source for certificate related queries from users and arbitrary applications.
“Our platforms scale from hundreds to thousands of users and our largest installation is 60,000 users which is growing to 150,000 users over the next few years,” comments Dr. Wiegel, “In major European tenders, our solutions are almost certainly on the short list and we aim to deliver the same opportunities to our channel partners in the UK.”
