Vigilance can report that Counter Terror Expo 2013, which was held 24 – 25 April at Olympia, London,has today announced a 9% attendance increase on the 2012 event. The 5th edition of the show attracted 9264 attendees and took place amidst an ongoing heightened security status, but also during a period of 12 months where the UK Police and Security Services have successfully safeguarded the public during a number of high profile events.
Counter Terror Expo has and will continue to serve the wider counter-terrorism and security industry in its quest to discover innovative solutions, share best practice and successful case studies and learn from some of the sharpest minds to protect nations, borders, crowded places, critical national infrastructure, companies, assets and individuals from the threat of terrorist attack.
Exhibitors were impressed with the quality of visitors who they met and were prepared to do business across 2 days of packed aisles and stands inside the Grand Hall, Olympia.

The free to attend workshop programme saw over 60 new products and case studies discussed and there were a number of new innovations demonstrated in the IEDD and Live Team Demo Area.
The extensive conference programme played host to a number of high level speakers from; UK Home Office, United Nations, NATO, Europol, LOCOG, Metropolitan Police, UK Border Agency, Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) and National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).
