Idea management tool used to decide winners of new global tech awards

Idea management firm Wazoku has supplied its Wazoku Competitions tool to the inaugural Tech Trailblazers Awards, allowing members of the public to vote for the best startup innovations in a number of enterprise technology categories.

The Tech Trailblazers Awards focus exclusively on enterprise technology startups from all over the world, looking for the very best products or services in the following categories: big data, cloud, infosecurity, mobile, networking, storage, sustainable IT, emerging markets and virtualisation.

Wazoku Competitions is a tool used to increase engagement, awareness and traffic around an event or competition. Wazoku has set up a fully branded and customised competition page for the Tech Trailblazers Awards website, where people can easily vote for their favourite in each category. There are voting and social buttons to increase engagement and a scoring system that automatically ranks the most popular entrants.

“Wazoku Competitions is the perfect tool for the inaugural Tech Trailblazers Awards. Not only does it suit our needs precisely, but Wazoku is also somewhat of a trailblazing startup itself,” said Rose Ross, Chief Trailblazer, Tech Trailblazers Awards. “We wanted something that would allow easy voting for entries and allow us to build online buzz and engagement as we get closer to the final voting day, and we are very happy with results so far.”

Based on Wazoku’s Idea Spotlight technology, Wazoku Competitions has already helped the Digital London summit earlier this year, driving more than 9,000 unique visitors to the Startup Challenge website and garnering more than 3,000 public votes for ideas submitted.

The Tech Trailblazers Awards (@techtrailblaze) represent the first independent initiative to recognize and reward enterprise technology startups in a global arena. The winner in each category wins access to expert advice and mentoring, along with thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes, which include the chance to use Wazoku (@WazokuHQ) in their own business.
