eSignLive, a Vasco company, launched an electronic signature solution in a FedRAMP SaaS-level compliant cloud with Project Hosts, a Cloud Services Provider (CSP) early last year, placing eSignLive as the e-signature choice for U.S. government agencies seeking to easily implement e-signatures that are required to meet GSA security requirements.

Agencies including the General Services Administration, the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, the U.S. Army, the USDA and the Department of Defense have used eSignLive for secure and complaint electronic signing of documents in the office or on the field via mobile devices, using Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card or Common Access Card (CAC).

A Bit of Color & History:  Tommy Petrogiannis and Michael Laurie created e-signature technology in 1992 by founding Silanis Technology, which was acquired by Vasco in 2015 and renamed eSignLive.  The idea was simple: devise an electronic signature to speed the routing of electronic documents to transform business processes.  The two pioneered the space, introducing e-signature technology to the U.S. before it was even legal. Their first major customer was the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, which continues to use eSignLive technology today – 25 years later.
