The future of security does not wait. Star Robotics is making its debut in the United Kingdom with Watchbot, an intelligent security robot fully developed and manufactured in Europe, ensuring technological sovereignty and data security in a critical sector.
Watchbot combines artificial intelligence, 360º cameras and specialized sensors to carry out inspection and surveillance rounds in industrial, energy and logistics facilities. Its mission is to detect risks, intrusions or technical failures and immediately alert the control center, preventing incidents and reducing operational costs. “The challenge is not to build a robot for a demo, but to make sure it works 24/7 in real environments, autonomously and reliably. That is the real achievement,” says Ángel Alejandre, CEO and founder of Star Robotics.
With eight hours of autonomy, the ability to operate in any climate and resilience in high risk scenarios, Watchbot offers a real alternative in a sector facing staff shortages by complementing human teams rather than replacing them.
Star Robotics robots are already deployed at power plants, water treatment facilities, data centers, logistics hubs and airports, where they support critical security and operational continuity.
The UK launch will take place at the International Security Expo in London, where the company will hold live demonstrations of Watchbot at Stand B34, Olympia London, from September 30 to October 1. T
he event’s judges have also selected Star Robotics as one of the Top 10 finalists in the Innovation Trail Awards 2025, a recognition that highlights Watchbot’s role in shaping the future of autonomous security and inspection.
Media and professionals interested in seeing Watchbot in action are invited to visit us at the exhibition. We will be glad to arrange registration, accreditation and an exclusive demonstration during the event.
