A security industry giant and former RAF Air Marshall, Andrew White will retire in November 2010 after a four-year stewardship at the National Security Inspectorate as its Chief Executive.
White, 58, who took over the leadership of NSI in August, 2006 said one of his primary objectives from the onset was to instigate a modernisation programme, streamlining NSI's processes and making internal efficiencies, which would continue long after his retirement.
"When I became CEO I had a plan to make NSI more efficient and customer focussed,” said White. “That strategy is now becoming a reality so I feel my work at NSI is coming to a conclusion. Over the last four years I have enjoyed my time working in the fire and security industry immensely and will miss working with all the dedicated and highly motivated people at NSI. After retirement I will turn my attention to developing my non-executive portfolio and of course, retain a close interest in the progress of NSI".
