Munich, Germany: Brainloop, the leading provider of document compliance management solutions for high-security collaboration on confidential documents, last week appointed David Topping as VP Global Marketing in order to drive the company’s internationalization strategy forward.
Topping, a seasoned marketing strategist, started his career at IBM after graduating from university in London, England. During his many years at IBM, he helped build the first global marketing team and headed up multiple major product launches. He then moved on to marketing management positions in a number of international midsized companies, where he was able to extend his experience of large multinationals with detailed knowledge of business operations to so-called “hidden champions” – small or medium-sized firms that are not household names but are global leaders in their field.
“David Topping is a very experienced marketing executive who will head up our international branding and the strategic positioning of our high-security software solution in enterprise and midsized companies,” commented Peter Weger, CEO of Brainloop. “His extensive knowledge and capabilities will support us in our quest to extend our thought leadership around the world on the subject of secure and compliant handling of confidential business documents.”
“With the Brainloop Secure Dataroom, Brainloop has developed an excellent solution,” added David Topping. “More than half the German DAX 30 companies – including ThyssenKrupp, Deutsche Post, Deutsche Telekom and RWE – rely on Brainloop to keep their highly sensitive documents secure and use it to work on strictly confidential board and project-related processes. This genuinely innovative application clearly has great potential. As an advocate of globalization, I’m really looking forward to helping Brainloop accelerate its international expansion.
