(PresseBox) BMS from Denmark, a long-standing customer of PALFINGER Platforms, placed a major order for Jumbo Class NX machines worth about €8.0 million. Ib Steffensen, director at BMS, stressed that the high quality and advanced technical features of the machinery produced in Krefeld were decisive factors in the purchase. BMS uses Palfinger access platforms across Europe, primarily for maintaining wind turbines.
In the view of the two managing directors of PALFINGER Platforms, Dr Sebastian Simon and Christian Eiring, this order vindicates the strategy that has been chosen for the company. Additional major orders are anticipated in the months to come and will enable further investment in the locations and the workforce. PALFINGER Platforms employs approximately 400 people at three locations in Germany to manufacture the access platforms and will continue to set new standards on the international platform market.
