Since establishing its office in New Delhi in 2017, Veracity has developed stronger relationships with its customers, partners and supply chain across the region, fuelling growth as integrators become aware of the full range of solutions now available to them. Veracity will be demonstrating the company’s portfolio of Transmission, Storage and Display products during Secutech, which runs from the 5th to the 7th April at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. You can learn more about Veracity products at the company stand (C4), including the product which all commissioning engineers should have in their vehicle, last year’s SECONA Shield Award-winning POINTSOURCE Wireless. Integrators can also explore different solutions to their daily challenges on the engaging Transmission Worksh.
New to the Indian security surveillance market and on display is COLDSTORE™, an established video surveillance storage solution for projects requiring longer term retention. Its sequential storage system delivers much higher disk reliability and a 90% power saving over equivalent RAID-based systems. With extended product life time and a much lower total cost of ownership, COLDSTORE provides all the storage security, system redundancy, performance and regional approvals required by this demanding market.
Offered as a 3U, 180TB unit using less than 0.4W per Terabyte, COLDSTORE also forms part of the TRINITY™ architecture. This eliminates the need for Network Video Recorder (NVR) servers by allowing IP cameras to record directly to COLDSTORE. TRINITY is currently supported by open platform cameras from Axis Communications and Hanwha Techwin.
Make sure you also see VIEWSCAPE™, the comprehensive command and control system on Veracity’s stand at C4. VIEWSCAPE features an advanced, modular integration platform that gives operators flexible and immediate control over complex surveillance and security functions. VIEWSCAPE includes visual information received from IP and deployable CCTV cameras combined with interactive maps and incident management. Its flexibility adapts to new requirements whilst minimising the challenges of integration with legacy systems.
“Since establishing our key distribution channels across India we have been delighted with the response from Integrators and Consultants who have been very quick to appreciate the benefits of an almost one-stop-shop for solutions beyond camera and cable. Delivering answers to common challenges in Ethernet and POE over Coax, extreme-distance Ethernet extenders, IP transmission tools and Master NTP Time servers has quickly increased the number of new projects which Veracity has been invited to tender on in the past 12 months” said David Corson, Group Commercial Director of Veracity. “Our solutions and product reliability for common industry challenges are an important differentiator for both the customer and specifier. Vivek Kumar and his team are growing in number to support the business from our New Delhi office and now with two global distributors on board, plus a number of national channels in discussion, India is already showing signs of becoming an all-round important market for us.”
