Reading UK: The Norbain IP Roadshow, designed to showcase the latest developments in IP Technology, was held in October and has received great feedback from suppliers and visitors alike.
With two events, one near London and the other in Manchester, the Roadshow allowed visitors to find out more about purely IP and networking technology within CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection. Combining educational seminars, a targeted exhibition with Norbain’s top-tier IP suppliers, and some exhilarating activities, the events created a real buzz about the technology.
Charlie Lacey, Norbain’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “Norbain is passionate about making IP technology accessible to our customers. The IP Roadshow is just one of the many ways in which we’re ensuring that everyone is in a position to take advantage of the opportunities it offers. I’d like to thank our suppliers and customers for their continued support and for helping us achieve such a successful event.”
Atul Rajput, Regional Director of Northern Europe for Axis said: “Axis participates in the Norbain IP Roadshows to engage with both existing channel partners and potential new partners interested in exploring our broad portfolio of network video products. We find that these road shows are a great opportunity to present in front of a captive audience, on the benefits of IP and to help installers become more confident in using Axis cameras. This year was particularly beneficial to us as we were able to get an even better understanding of the challenges facing many system integrators today. We look forward to the 2014 road shows and engaging with even more Norbain customers, as the shift from analogue to IP continues to accelerate in the UK market.”
Iain Cameron, Managing Director at Mirasys, enthused: “The Norbain IP Roadshow provided us with a great platform to meet with installers, integrators and end users to discuss how new developments in IP can help drive new opportunities for them. As a strategic partner Norbain is instrumental in providing this type of opportunity and face to face meetings enable us to promote how our technologies can make a difference in the field. We’re very pleased with the results we achieved from it.”
Tim Pickles, National Sales Manager at Longcross Fire & Security Ltd, concluded: “Norbain’s Roadshow allowed us to catch up with developments in IP, and spend time with suppliers to see how the technology is changing the industry. For an installer visiting the show, the size of the event is very manageable, allowing us to spend quality time with suppliers. We had some great conversations regarding our requirements and upcoming projects and have come away with a number of solutions that we’ll be following up. It was an extremely well organised event, and was well worth the day out of the office.”
Norbain will be running Roadshows again in 2014 and will be keeping you informed of dates and locations.
