Police nab 8 for alleged drug trafficking network

Vigilance learnt authoritatively that five people have been charged following an operation which targeted an alleged drug trafficking network based in London and the South East.

The police statement said the under-mentioned appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates' Court, yesterday 23 June:

[A] Angela Firth, 49 (27.2.62) of Elwill Way, Beckenham, Kent is charged with:

Conspiracy to supply class A drugs namely cocaine

Possessing Criminal Property

Concealing Criminal Property

[C] Charles Flatman, 64 (28.4.47) of Elwill Way, Beckenham, Kent is charged with:

Conspiracy to supply class A drugs namely cocaine

Possessing Criminal Property

Concealing Criminal Property

Possession of an offensive weapon

[E] Mark Worden, 51 (5.10.59) of Boughton Avenue, Bromley, Kent is charged with:

Conspiracy to supply class A drugs namely cocaine

[G] Daniel Flatman, 24 (27.6.86) of Lucerne Road, Orpington, Kent is charged with:

Conspiracy to supply class A drugs namely cocaine

Possessing Criminal Property

Concealing Criminal Property

[H] Tina Fox, 57 (5/7/53) of Lucerne Road, Orpington, Kent is charged with:

Conspiracy to supply class A drugs namely cocaine

Our Intelligence and Policing Team gathered that all have been remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court in September.

Whilst three others arrested - a woman [B - 27 ys] and two men [D - 53 ys; F - 37 ys] - were bailed to return pending further inquiries. ā€˜D’ was subsequently re-arrested this morning (24 June) and remains in custody at a south London police station.
