On Monday, Feb. 29, President Barack Obama will present the Medal of Honor to Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Edward C. Byers Jr.

Byers will receive the honor for his rescue efforts during a hostage situation during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012.
