Paris: Défense Conseil International has just finished a 3 week training session aimed at future Electronic Warfare (EW) experts of the French Air Force. This training is based on a very strong historical link. Indeed, for more than 25 years, DCI has participated in the acculturation of Electronic Warfare managers of French Air Force, Naval Air Force and Army Aviation operational units.
The trainings provided by DCI-AIRCO Electronic Warfare division are updated to keep pace with the technological advances, thanks to a close cooperation with the best French industrial experts in this field (Thalès, MBDA, Lacroix…). The technical and operational aspects, particularly acute for this type of training, are dealt with through EW simulation tools developed in close cooperation with the ABAK Systèmes company in which DCI has a 19% stake.
The division is also performing this training for customer countries. Since 1985 when the division was created, it has conducted more than 180 sessions for some 25 countries around the planet.
More than 1,600 trainees from the Middle-East, South America, North Africa and Asia have benefited from the skills and know-how of EW division.
"For more than 25 years, the French Air Force trusted us thanks to our strong operational experience in the use of Electronic Warfare techniques and tactics. Our experts, all former subject experts in the French Air Force, favour the operational approach while focusing on innovation. I am really proud of this trust relationship built over time with the French Air Force.” comments Henri Rouby, DCI-AIRCO director.
