It was revealed on Wednesday that LinkedIn had 6.5million passwords leaked. Imperva's Application Defence Centre (ADC) has been following this breach closely on hacker forums and has not only seen the file with these passwords on, but is convinced that the breach could actually be bigger than 6.5million. The study asked what people would most fear losing from their back pocket – 37% said their ‘personal phone’; 20% their ‘company phone’; 25% said ‘£50’; with just 18% citing ‘credit cards’.
