But Royal Artillery Captain Heather Stanning who secured Team GB’s first gold medal of the London 2012 Olympics in the rowing regatta at Eton Dorney today, has helped to lower the nation’s ‘high blood pressure’ drastically and ended days and nights of Waiting for Gold! The win is also the first time an Olympic gold medal has been won in rowing by a female crew. Yo! Team GB, now that Heather has removed the ‘curse’ of the London 2012, keep the prized diadem coming in!
