Bikal opens laboratory in Coventry for cameras, NVRs and testing facility

With demand from overseas for "Made in UK" security products, Bikal has opened a laboratory to assemble product for project based equipment.

London: Vigilance can report that Bikal has announced a new location which will facilitate its demand for made in the UK products. Currently, Bikal has dealt with individual requests for such product and used test centres on an ad-hoc basis. This is no longer feasible with the amount of requests, especially from the Middle East. While components will still be sourced from manufacturers in the Far East, the location in Coventry will provide a permanent place for assembly.

Georbot Botnet: A cyber espionage campaign against Georgian Government

A few days ago, CERT-Georgia published a great report describing a cyber espionage campaign. The report states the malware was found in Georgian Governmental Agencies including ministries, parliament, banks and NGO's. The report also mentions that the purpose of the malware was "Collecting Sensitive, Confidential Information about Georgian and American Security Documents” and it establishes a connection with Russian Official Security Agencies.
