London: The information security community in the UK, through the activities of the White Hat Committee www.whitehatevents.org, has raised over £190,000 for a range of charities over the past year, and several cheque presentations were made this week at the InfoSecurity Europe event in London, Vigilance can reveal.

· Contactless growth in Western Europe and Asia exceeded 100 percent

· SPA believes the harmonization of ISO, SEPA and EMVCo standards will ensure the global interoperability of new NFC contactless services for consumers.
