IT professionals worry about the security of big data and cloud projects

LONDON (UK): Voltage Security®, the world leader in data-centric security, today announced results of a recent industry survey in which 76% of senior-level IT and security respondents said the inability to secure data across big data initiatives gave them cause for concern. The study[i] further showed that more than half (56%) admitted that these security concerns have kept them from starting or finishing cloud or big data projects.

New study reveals an 11-Month return on investment for the Tufin Security suite

New Citadel malware variant targeting Payza payment platforms

Below is a media alert from Etay Maor, Fraud Prevention Solutions Manager, Trusteer, on how a new Citadel malware variant is targeting customers using the Payza payment platform. This is a Man in the Browser attack which alters the login screen presented to the customer and adds the “pin” field and then sends the customers email, passcode and pin number to the criminals. The Payza transaction pin is used every time a user wants to send, add or withdraw funds, so by obtaining the customers pin number, a cybercriminal can take over their account.
