UK security company Octavian has developed the industry’s first onsite manned security app for smartphones and tablets, to increase its security offer to clients.
Available exclusively to clients of Octavian Security, the new app will enable clients to access all security information on site, both historically and as it happens. This will include details of all on site activity as it occurs, information on each site’s security KPIs and details of personnel on site at the time. Additionally, the app will provide clients with information from any supervisory visits.
A minor flaw in WordPress has much wider implications - it potentially exposes an organisation to data leakage. If a company uploads additional media to support a draft blog, while the text may be protected, the supporting material is open to discovery. While many may deem the risk as low, it potentially leaves a listed company at risk of insider trading, or a design company to copyright theft.
