Reading, UK: IGEL Technology today announced its thin clients will support Imprivata OneSign ProveID Embedded, a new solution designed to provide healthcare workers with secure, No Click Access® to clinical applications within Virtual Desktop Environments (VDI). Incorporated into IGEL’s thin client firmware, Imprivata OneSign ProveID Embedded provides customers with an out-of-the-box solution for delivering seamless access to clinical applications and patient information at the point of care. Imprivata OneSign ProveID Embedded will initially be integrated with the IGEL UD2-LX MultiMedia Universal Desktop thin client, and through support for Intel x86 processor architecture, future versions of Imprivata OneSign ProveID Embedded will integrate with IGEL’s wider range of thin client devices.

Vislink plc, the global technology business specialising in high performance wireless communications products and services for the broadcast, defence and security markets, has acquired Amplifier Technology for a total maximum consideration of £4.0m cash which includes a maximum earn out of £2.0m to be paid if Amplifier Technology reaches an EBITDA of £3.0m for the year ending 30 June 2014. In order that any earn out is paid, Amplifier Technology must reach a minimum EBITDA of £1.0m.
