UK based Redline Assured Security has signed a two year contract with the Bangladesh government. This will deliver aviation security services, including training, to security officials and screeners appointed by the Civil Aviation ministry at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. A high-profile steering committee was formed to oversee the Bangladesh government's measures and ensure robust security at the airport.

Paris, France: Thales (Euronext Paris: HO) has announced the closing of its acquisition of Vormetric, a leading provider of data protection solutions in physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures, after approval by the regulatory authorities. The transaction price is approximately 375 million euros. Vormetric will be progressively integrated into Thales’s cybersecurity business in order to create a global leader in data protection.
