Reports are circulating about a huge data leak of 200 million Yahoo users. This data is being offered for sale on TheRealDeal dark web market by “peace_of_mind” (aka Peace). The batch of data is, apparently, being sold for 3 Bitcoins and contains usernames, passwords and dates of birth. For users based in the United States, the dump also includes backup email addresses and users' ZIP codes:

Reports are beginning to surface that Yahoo has been the victim of a data breach, with the data of 200 million users being offered for sale on the dark web. Although Yahoo has yet to confirm the breach, the data is believed to be real as the seller "peace_of_mind" has previously sold data from the VK, Tumblr and iMesh breaches. LONDON, UK: A recent survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of security and privacy advice and comparison website Comparitech.com has found that 67% of the UK public who regularly use the Windows operating system would at least consider switching from Windows to Mac due to privacy concerns, with 15% insisting they would definitely consider swapping. Interestingly, 33% said they would not even consider switching operating systems, despite Windows 10 collecting user data that would raise concern over privacy.
