Open University to present at Managed Services and Hosting Summit

London: The Managed Services and Hosting Summit has added new topics to an already strong line-up of speakers as it attracts record pre-registration of attendees. The event has also attracted record levels of industry support this year with 30 sponsors from across the sector, including many of the leading names in managed services. Under the theme of “The Digital Dividend – The Role of Managed Services in a Digital World”, this year’s event will examine the rapid changes taking place currently in the industry and among IT customers.

UKCloud Becomes First British Firm to Achieve ISO27018 Information Security Certification

London: UKCloud has announced that it has achieved certification against the ISO27018 information security standard, for the protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in public clouds, becoming the first UK company to be awarded this status by certification body, LRQA. UKCloud has also today announced that it has successfully re-certified against the ISO20000 standard for IT Service Management for a further three years.
