The Royal Navy's fourth Astute Class attack submarine has been formally named. The new submarine was named Audacious in a traditional ceremony at the BAE Systems shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness.

Cigital is a large, global application security firm specialising in professional and managed services for identifying, remediating and preventing vulnerabilities in software applications. Codiscope has transformed the tools and intellectual property created by Cigital into a suite of accessible and streamlined products for a broad population of developers.
Minister for Defence Procurement Harriett Baldwin MP further strengthened the UK’s partnership with France recently at the High Level Working Group in Paris, signing key agreements with her French counterpart, Laurent Collet-Billon, Délégué Général pour l’Armement. These include the next phase of the UK-France Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) Demonstrator Programme, further hydrodynamics testing cooperation, and a support contract for Ajax, Warrior and French Jaguar weaponry.
