Securonix has been named one of “the most advanced” real-time security intelligence capability providers by the leading research firm KuppingerCole.

KuppingerCole evaluated Securonix’s most recent security analytics platform release – SNYPR 6.0 – in its executive review by analyst and enterprise security expert Alexei Balaganski. SNYPR is a big data security analytics platform that predicts, detects and responds to cyber threats, insider threats and fraud with cutting-edge behavior analytics and machine-learning techniques. Its modular components include next generation SIEM, a big data lake with intelligent log management and the most advanced UEBA capabilities available. Customers may choose to deploy the complete, end-to-end platform or any set of its modules.

London: In this article,  Colin Tankard, Managing Director, Digital Pathways, tries to dissect the recent attack on the NHS and the nations as “the dust seems to be settling and a fix has been found for the malware.

Sad as it was, the NHS was not alone, 74 countries were affected including not only hospitals but businesses and others too, including Fedex, Honda the German rail systems, universities and national telco, Telefonica. It would not surprise me if other organisations were affected too but have not publicly declared it.
