London: Egton has chosen to migrate to UKCloud, the easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to leave assured cloud services company. Egton, part of EMIS Group, has moved a range of its software services to UKCloud’s Cloud Native Infrastructure service, based on Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
London: Suppliers of managed services are taking on more responsibilities as they become the driving force for IT industry growth, delegates at the Managed Services & Hosting Summit were told in London this week. More than two hundred managed services providers (MSPs) and aspiring providers of managed services were advised their need to become rounded providers of business productivity, by adopting the right mindset, getting more training on key issues and by working together to offer a more comprehensive range of services.

England and Benelux: Nuvias has been appointed as the sole pan-EMEA distributor for Advanced User Behaviour Intelligence leader Dtex Systems’ range of insider threat solutions. High-value distribution business Nuvias, whose Cyber Security Practice was created from the former security VAD Wick Hill, will work with Dtex to establish a channel network in EMEA and promote growth for the vendor. The initial focus will be on the UK and Benelux, with a later second stage aimed at DACH, The Nordics and France.
