Vigilance can reveal that after weeks of scathing criticism against the UN and its leadership for not act fast over the genocide in Libya, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon last Saturday had telephone discussions with King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on developments in Libya, as he continues to reach out to world leaders to urge them to support the international effort to stop the violence in the North African country.
