Websense Security Labs have uncovered increased evidence of “typosquatting”, where cybercriminals create mirrors of popular shopping sites like Argos and Debenhams in order to steal customer data. Websense has uncovered 2,000 live sites designed to scam and steal data from online shoppers
General Sir David Richards, Chief of the Defence Staff on December 14th, 2011 in London, delivered the RUSI Annual Lecture where he canvassed economic growth and the pursuit of transatlantic military alliances. Said General Richards, “The country’s main effort must be the economy. Vigilance can authoritatively reveal that the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has created a brand new section of membership exclusively for companies providing quality training to security industry personnel.
According to a BSIA source this move follows the original creation of a Training Providers' working group in April this year, which brought together several companies that supply training services to the security industry in the UK.
Vigilance gathered that following a successful seven months setting objectives and increasing membership, the Association has recognised the growing importance of this group by creating an official section of membership.
