The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is holding the first Crime Prevention Exhibition and Conference in Liverpool on the 25th May 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This free to attend event will offer security companies an opportunity to showcase their products and will allow delegates to view the latest security services and to listen to engaging seminar presentations delivered by expert in the field on methods and regulations.
Organised by the BSIA in partnership with Merseyside Police and the Liverpool BID Company, the event is a must-attend for the North West’s wider business community, major retailers, local authorities and entertainment venues.
The BSIA is calling to all security related businesses in the Midlands and the North West of England to book their exhibition stand and take advantage of an audience made of retailers and business owners. Exhibitors will be able to demonstrate their latest products and services, giving delegates the opportunity to get up close to the latest technological innovations, meet potential suppliers and find out more about which solutions would best suit their business.
Free to attend for delegates, the event will take place at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool city centre, and features a range of expert speakers including Tony Porter, Surveillance Camera Commissioner, speaking about surveillance Camera Code of Practice.
Other confirmed speakers include Dirk Wilson, Chairman of BSIA’s section who will discuss day to day interaction with security members of staff; Shaun Holland, crime safety consultant of the Liverpool BID Company, who will talk on tackling retail crime; a Merseyside Police Officer with a crime prevention brief.
Similar past events held in other UK cities attracted record number of over 300 delegates, with attendees including representatives of well-known city-centre retailers, as well as other organisations including insurers, healthcare practitioners and local authorities.
James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA, commented: “We are very excited about holding this event in Liverpool. We believe it will provide a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to learn about the latest security products and services, whilst hearing about the great work that Merseyside Police do for the city. The BSIA security experts will be at hand to share best practice advice and help to secure a positive and safe future for local businesses.”
