Ryan O’Keefe confirmed as New Regional Sales Director
London UK: IRONSCALES has confirmed the appointment of Ryan O’Keefe as its new Regional Sales Director responsible for UK and Ireland. This is the first of many employees the company is looking to secure in EMEA, reaffirming its expansion plans for this region, following its $6.5million Series A investment earlier this month.
Speaking about his appointment, Ryan confirmed, “It’s an exciting time to join IRONSCALES as it realises its expansion plans in this region. Phishing continues to be a major threat vector for organisations, with many struggling to deflect the inventive campaigns attackers unleash. From its inception the company has looked to challenge how organisations approach phishing detection and remediation, focusing on the mailbox where the threat is most volatile rather than just the gateway. As both a human and machine problem, the response also requires the powerful combination of human intelligence with machine learning which is what IRONSCALES delivers. I’m looking forward to helping our customers thwart phishers campaign’s however they’re delivered.”
Ryan brings with him 17 years sales experience in the technology sector, having previously held roles with Sungard Availability Services and OCSL. At Sungard, Ryan received numerous awards and recognition for his achievements, including the title of ‘New Business Rookie of the Year.’ Prior to this Ryan has held roles in the banking and finance sector.

Ryan will focus primarily on supporting IRONSCALES’ customers and partners in the UK and Ireland.
Since entering the UK and European markets in mid-2016, IRONSCALES has steadily built a strong customer-base and established a robust channel partner program with MSSPs and other IT resellers. It opened its first UK office in April, with David joining the team in August, this year.
