Farnborough: Datum Datacentres has announced that a further global security-conscious client has joined the broad community of organisations who have selected the Farnborough facility to house their critical IT infrastructure.
From public safety and security to international insurance, financial services, global cyber security, online payments, defence and engineering, Datum’s client base evidences its secure credentials. When Datum launched in 2012 to provide a robust co-location service for business critical IT, the selection of a government–grade secure park site coupled with Datum’s rigorous management and client-centric approach gave the complete offering a particular appeal to organisations who value confidentiality and safety. Nearly four years on, the first two halls of the data centre are dominated by large dedicated client cages to which the addition of the new City-based client gives further credence to Datum’s claim to be the data centre of choice for sensitive business critical IT.
Dominic Phillips, Datum Managing Director, reinforces this point: “Datum clients are frequently characterised by a zero tolerance approach to security risks. We take their concerns with the seriousness that they demand, referring to them even internally by their code names. The nature of their operations requires a data centre that is not only extremely secure and highly resilient but is also appropriately managed to avoid the risk of breaches and downtime. Each new client that selects our service reinforces and reaffirms the strength of the Datum offering and we are delighted to welcome the latest global name to our facility.”
