SAN DIEGO: Cubic Global Defense (CGD) has announced that John Kling, program manager of Cubic’s Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC), will present a briefing on applying the concept of ‘blended training’ in the battlefield environment at MilSim Asia 2016 conference to be held in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from January 19 – 20. Kling will discuss Cubic’s integrated use of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVCG) capabilities in a complex training environment to enhance unit readiness.
MilSim Asia is the only event for the military training, simulation and education community in the region. Key military personnel and participants will address the theme, “Enhancing Military Capability in an Era of Asian Modernisation,” along with the latest innovations, challenges and future requirements of the sector.
“Cubic is an industry leader in enhanced training solutions and our collective experience and expertise in supporting exercises in dynamic environments is very valuable to our customers,” said John Kling, program manager, Korea Battle Simulation Center. “Blending the total training environment with LVCG across the training spectrum into a realistic and challenging experience enhances military readiness.”
During the event, Kling will highlight Cubic’s KBSC, which provides theater-level, manual and computer-assisted training exercises in the Republic of Korea, Japan and other locations around the world. The training at KBSC includes battle simulation training, live virtual gaming capabilities, planning and coordination, and facilitation of the four Services, Joint and Combined exercises, particularly in conjunction with the Pacific Theater region.
