Apprentice Supermarket, a non-profit business aiming to get young people off the streets and back into work, are JobsiteWhite’s latest live partner to launch a job board using Jobsite technology.
Apprentice Supermarket are striving to help the “Jobless Generation” of unemployed young people develop their skills and employability. They offer a range of training programmes, or “boot camps” for both the apprenticeship-seeking candidate and hiring employers. Eligible candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 24, either school leavers or those looking to retrain and gain new skills. Apprentice Supermarket can offer them a full induction and essential training into the industry they are entering as well as personal monitoring, training on the job and a list of connection to hiring companies in the UK once they have completed their apprenticeship or training.
They chose to partner JobsiteWhite to add a job board onto their site because, as a not for profit organisation, they need as much cost-effective national brand awareness as they can and JobsiteWhite is the cheapest solution on the market. A professional looking job board, utilising Jobsite’s cutting edge job board technology, with a feed of current vacancies from jobsite.co.uk, will also give them valid and relevant site content.
Apprentice Supermarket believe that having the Jobsite brand and endorsement on their site, via partnership with JobsiteWhite, will harness the well-known name and marketplace that links to Jobsite can provide. They hope this will encourage other companies and major employers to also endorse their brand and become a resource for them to use in order to help employ and retrain their apprentices.
JobsiteWhite appreciates the valuable work they are doing, and look forward to working with them in the future and hope their job board is a success and brings in revenue to this worthy cause.
