Hamburg: The German IT security specialist gateprotect and the distributor Comguard are showcasing several innovations at the GITEX in Dubai. From 20 to 24 October 2013 in hall 1 at booth C1 – 9A at the most important technology trade fair of the Middle East and Asia, gateprotect will be presenting “Complete Security”, a new sophisticated endpoint solution, as well as the new hardware equipment of the next generation firewalls that have been honored with several awards.

Having enhanced its security portfolio by the new, innovative endpoint solution “Complete Security“, gateprotect is as of now providing its customers with all-round protection for networks and endpoints as well as reliable data security anywhere and at any time. For the protection also of mobile devices, gateprotect is continuously focusing on user-friendliness and easy operation. Thanks to the partnership with Webroot, a leading provider of technically highly developed security intelligence solutions, users and IT infrastructures may now be protected even better against complex and targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and phishing attacks.

As a further highlight, gateprotect will for the first time present its new, once more improved equipment of the next generation firewalls. All models are as of now available with a new, even more powerful hardware. The GPO series for the comprehensive protection of small offices and home offices, the GPA series for the protection of medium-sized companies and the GPX series for larger networks have been equipped with top-modern processors and even more RAM. The new hardware architecture enables all models to perform significantly better and protects company networks and data even more effectively at a more favorable price.

During the past years, gateprotect has successfully gained market shares in the booming markets of the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia and won reputable partners and customers. “Our innovative, easy-to-use products and our good reputation as a reliable partner have made us so successful also in these regions”, Dr. Peter Smeets, CEO gateprotect AG Germany, confirms. “For years already, we have guaranteed that our firewalls do not contain any hidden access mechanisms that would allow unauthorized third parties to access a computer system, and we have been standing for trusted “IT security made in Germany” since 2002.”
