PALO ALTO, CA: Accellion, Inc., the pioneer in providing enterprise-class, secure mobile productivity solutions has announced that mobile users can now securely conduct contract negotiations and annotate confidential documents on-the-go using the new embedded PDF annotation feature of the Accellion Mobile App for iOS. Differentiating itself from other offerings, Accellion offers a seamless approach to PDF annotation that eliminates the need for users to open sensitive documents in unsecure third party services when working via a mobile device.

PDF annotation is used in many business workflows, and as the workforce increasingly moves to a mobile-first mentality, it’s imperative that professionals have secure access to the content and tools they need, from whatever location and device they choose. Whether it’s a lawyer annotating legal documentation so his team can help prepare for an upcoming deposition, a business development executive that needs to approve and sign contracts from the road to expedite her deal cycle, or a mobile nurse who needs to take photos of patient wounds and annotate the images for review by a doctor, mobile workers from all professions have the need for a secure way to annotate and share PDFs.

“Current PDF annotation services in the market do not offer an integrated secure mobile solution for mobile users that are managing documents from the road,” said Rama Kolappan, director of mobile product marketing at Accellion. “We’re thrilled to offer our mobile enabled customers yet another way to improve their professional productivity, and decrease the risk of data leaks or security breaches.”
