Global summits organiser, IRN, is delighted to announce that the Head of Security and the Deputy Head of the Department of Energy Resources from the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan will open the Central Asia and Caspian Oil & Gas Security Forum 2014 with a Keynote presentation.
The forum will take place on the 8th -9th April in Baku, and will be a unique senior level meeting to discuss security concerns affecting the oil and gas industry in the Central Asia region and the oil rich Caspian Sea.
From national and international oil companies, governmental bodies, national navy & armed forces, to non-governmental organisations and security analysts, a greater degree of dialogue between security decision makers is essential to ensure the highest level of security to pipelines, critical infrastructure and employees. This forum will be the ideal setting to form these valuable new connections and professional relationships.
There will be a panel discussion moderated by the Regional Security Manager from Saipem, and with panellists from Tengizchevroil and Tethys Petroleum to name a few, which will explore how to create greater information sharing amongst oil and gas security managers.
The Central Asia and Caspian Oil & Gas Security Forum will gather senior security officials from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, andTurkey to discuss issues including theft prevention, pipeline and infrastructure protection, relations with local communities, maritime security, counter-terrorism and cyber security in the region.
