LONDON: Varonis Systems, Inc. has announced the expansion of its presence in Japan, introducing local-language support and a new website in the world’s second-largest IT market. [1]
The announcement continues the international expansion of Varonis, headquartered in New York City and now operating throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Today’s announcement significantly deepens the company’s commitment to its Japanese customers.
Yoju Kobayashi, Business Development for Varonis in Japan, said: “We have approximately 100 customers in Japan who are benefitting from Varonis technology, ranging from large enterprises with tens of thousands of users to businesses with fewer than 100 users. This commitment enables Varonis to broaden our customer base and develop local partners. It is clear that there is a widespread need in Japan for software solutions that solve business problems caused by the rapid growth of human-generated unstructured data and the importance of ensuring the right levels of access and collaboration that employees need to be productive.”
The new Varonis website is now live at www.varonis.jp, featuring product details, customer case studies, and whitepapers. Multi-lingual customer support is available for Varonis customers in Japan. The Varonis team is staffed with experts in implementing enterprise technology solutions in Japan.
Yaki Faitelson, Varonis CEO, President and Co-Founder, said: “We have already seen that data-intensive organizations in Japan are experiencing the same challenges that have propelled the popularity of Varonis solutions in all of the markets we serve. Human-generated data – from emails and spreadsheets to presentations and rich media files – have become the fastest-growing and most sensitive class of digital information. Varonis enables businesses to address the security, risk management and compliance aspects of this data, as well as the opportunities for greater collaboration and business intelligence.”
