READING, UK: AppSense has announced that their Chief Technologist, Simon Townsend, has been selected in the final line-up to speak to BriForum’s highly technical audience in what has become the established desktop enablement conference on both sides of the Atlantic.
The AppSense entry was selected from an open Call for Papers selection process made directly to the TechTarget BriForum organisers. The development of the independent agenda for the London UK event (19/20 May) and the Boston US event (26/28 July) followed multiple rounds of vetting and selection. Pressure is so great to make the final speaking line-up that nominations far outweigh the availability of presentation slots, by a factor of four.
“It was great to receive notification that my session had been selected,” commented Simon Townsend, Chief Technologist, AppSense. “It’s recognition of just how seriously technologists view the security of their Windows 10 environment. Brian Madden and the TechTarget organising team recognise there’s a fine line between meeting security concerns and negatively compromising user productivity. Within our session we will discuss the challenges organisations are facing with regard to end point security and drill into the various methodologies and new technologies available in Windows 10 which can help both secure and protect endpoints.”
